There's s-n-a-k-e-s in the library!
Thomas "The Snakeman" Davis will be bringing snakes to Freeman Library today (July 11) for shows at 2:30 and 3:30 pm. Mr. Davis will show and talk about the snakes and then allow the audience to hold some of them.
This program is recommended for children 5 years old and older. Tickets are required. They are free and will be distributed 30 minutes before each session.
Freeman Library is open 1-9 pm on Thursdays. This program is always popular, so we recommend that you come early to the library and look at some of our displays while you are waiting. This program is funded by the generous donations of the Friends of Freeman Library.
Just a reminder - we have 30 days left of the Summer Reading Program. Babies, older children, teens as well as adults can join the Summer Reading Program for free. Children joining the Summer Reading Program will receive a "passport" to bring to programs for a special stamp or sticker. We'll be doing a snake stamp for this program, so don't forget to bring your "passport" or join this afternoon to get a "passport" for the stamp.
