Through the Woods

You’re walking through the woods, there’s no one around. Out of the corner of your eye you spot him- no, not Shia LeBeouf. It’s your brother whom you murdered last night, and he’s so happy to see you.

Through the Woods could best be described as a collection of fairy tales for adults. Like, the gritty, horrifying original fairy tales they used to tell where the woodsman doesn’t come in time and even the happily ever afters involved someone having to dance at some wedding in red hot shoes (and really, isn’t having to even show up for a wedding punishment enough?)

You don't have to be a horror fan to enjoy this anthology. Writer and artist Emily Carroll weaves beautiful narratives with equally stunning artwork enough to make this book a stormy night favorite.
