Thursday After School Craft Corner @ Jacinto City Branch Library!

Mola craft created by GabyJoin us Thursday, October 12th @ 5 pm

We will feature a Hispanic Heritage themed craft inspired by the Kuna peoples of Panama (click on link to learn more about this fascinating country).

Mola means shirt in the native Kuna language.  The tradition began with Kuna women painting geometric shapes on their bodies but later moved to fabric designs after colonization by the European.  We will create our own Mola designs using construction paper!  Come create your very own geometric masterpiece and explore the wonders of Hispanic heritage.
