Visit with Rice University's Global Health Fellows

Rice University’s Rice360 Institute for Global Health brings together students and faculty from a variety of disciplines to design and deploy new technologies to solve health challenges around the world. This year, the institute is a semi-finalist for a $100 million MacArthur Foundation grant for neonatal technologies they designed for mothers and newborns in Malawi, where they will return again this summer. Talk with the institute’s Global Health Fellows about their experiences on Monday, June 6 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Library Community Room (register please by calling 281-484-2036 or by clicking on our events calendar). This program is part of the library's Summer Reading Program for teens and adults.
