Volunteer @ the Library

Book StackDo you want to volunteer at the library?  We have a very important upcoming opportunity for volunteers!

Patron Count Week

Patron Count Week is coming, and that means we need volunteers!  So what does that mean for you?

Patron Count Week is June 16-21st.  We need a volunteer to sit at a table in our lobby every hour the library is open to the public to count each adult, teen, and child who enters.  Sound like a big job?  It’s not!  Anyone who knows their numbers is welcome to help out.  In between counting, you can even catch up on the latest celebrity gossip with a magazine or keep your nose in your favorite book!  If you are interested in helping with Patron Count, call the library at 281-550-0885 or sign up at the Information Desk.

Patron Count Week is the ONLY volunteer activity we do not require volunteers to attend volunteer orientation or have an application on file.  (However, if you would like your volunteer activities to count, you will need to fill out a Volunteer Application and attend a New Volunteer Orientation.)  If you are interested in volunteering at the library in other capacities, please attend one of our upcoming New Volunteer Orientations!
