This Week Was Busy at the Little Blue Library

Last week was a busy one for the Little Blue Library.  On Monday we had Story Time in the Gardens under the tree house at 10:30 am.  The subject was Owls.  Later in the day at 4 pm we had Ghost Rockets under the tree house for kid’s ages 6 to 11 years.  We used science to make something really cool.  Then in the evening, we had our adult program, ESL at 6 pm.  It is taught by Cindy and takes place in the Mercer Botanic Center.  The address is 22540 Aldine Westfield Rd.  For more information on the location, please call Cindy at 832-927-5480.   On Tuesday, Oct 16th we had guitar class with Kevin Groover under the tree house at 5 pm.  The class is full, but we will probably have another next year, since it is so popular with the community.  On Wednesday, we had our adult program, Spin-a-Yarn at 11 am at the Mercer Botanic Center, and our Word Crafters at 5 pm in the Starbucks at 1960 & Aldine Westfield Rd.  For more information on these two programs, please call Carrie at 832-927-5480.  On Thursday we had our teens, tweens program Motion Animation part 3 “Creepy Things” at 4 pm under the tree house.  On Friday we had our ESL class with Teresa Allen at 1 pm.  It took place at the Mercer Botanic Center at 22540 Aldine Westfield Rd.  Then at 3 pm we had our Citizenship Class with Cindy.   It also takes place at the Mercer Botanic Center.  The class if completely full.  To see what programs we have coming up, please take a look at our events calendar at HCPL.net, or you can come by the Little Blue Library and see for yourself.  We would love to see you there!
