Yes, We Do Have After School Programs For Children At The Library!
Although the reading program activities are finished there is still plenty for children to do at the library. There is something happening at the library for school aged children every Tuesday afternoon at 4:30pm in the Robin Bush Room. Also for school aged kids is an afterschool storytime at 4:30pm every Thursday afternoon in the Robin Bush Room. Pick up a children’s activity flyer at the children’s information desk for details or check the Barbara Bush branch calendar at www.hcpl.net.
We have not forgotten babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Storytimes for these young people take place every week year round. Schedules are available at the children’s information desk or check the Barbara Bush branch calendar at www.hcpl.net.
Please note that Catch the Reading Express Summer Reading Program and Activities officially ended Saturday, August 7th. Children are encouraged to visit the library to pick up their “railroads” before the staff in children’s services removes them from the walls, doors and windows on Saturday, August 21st.
