Your Ship Has Come In...

Come see the Battleship TEXAS during the Hard Hat Tour on Saturday, October 17. This tour is sponsored by Texas Parks & Wildlife and will show areas of the ship not normally seen by the public, such as the Ammo Handling Room, Aft Steering, Drying Room, Boiler room, Main Radio Room, and Plotting Room. 

Participants will need to bring a small pocket flashlight, wear comfortable clothes, rubber soled deck shoes, and a camera if you would like. Hard hats will be provided, and water will be available along the tour route. 
Participants must be 13 and older, space is limited and reservations are required. There are four different time slots for the tours: 8:30 am, 10:30 am, 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. The tours will start exactly on time, so be prompt.
There is no regular admission fee but a minimum donation of $30 per person will be collected. Checks should be made out to:   Battleship TEXAS Foundation.
