- A Red Cross "Relief Store" is open 10 AM-6 PM at San Jacinto Mall (IH 10 at
Garth) for evacuees
- Emergency Prescriptions - Prescription and Non-prescription drugs are available at CVS, Walgreens, Wal-Mart & Sams Club pharmacies. See linked press release for further information. According to the Houston Chronicle (not the above press release), Kroger pharmacies are also filling emergency prescriptions.

- Houston Food Bank - Listing of local food pantries providing food to evacuees.
- Ikea is giving out free meals.
- Knapp Building in Pearland - Meals available from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM for evacuees indefinately.
