How HCPL Provides Information and Resources to Enrich Lives and Strengthen CommunitiesOur Mission: Harris County Public Library provides information and resources to enrich lives and strengthen communities through innovative services within and beyond our walls. What We Do: We provide a current and dynamic collection of books, magazines, audio books, DVDs, online information and other materials. How We Do It: We select and purchase library materials based on the needs of the diverse communities that HCPL serves. A dynamic collection requires constant evaluation and review to ensure that the library?s materials are always the most current and relevant.
