The Last Lecture Author Randy Pausch 1960 - 2008
Randy Pausch, author of the best-selling book The Last Lecture, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2008. The 47-year-old computer science professor delivered the lecture "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams" at Carnegie Mellon University in September of 2007. Less than a month earlier, he had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
