Bestselling author Bebe Moore Campbell died on Monday due to complications from cancer. Her works include Brothers and Sisters, Singing in the Comeback Choir and her latest 72 Hour Hold.

2006 National Book Awards Announced
The National Book Awards are awarded annually for fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and young people's literature. It is sponsored by the National Book Foundation, a consortium of publishing groups.
Fiction
Richard Powers. The Echo Maker

We're pleased to be able to offer a new database - Science Online from Facts on File. Science Online is a science database geared towards middle and high school students.
As an example, a search for carbon returns over 1300 entries dived into Topics, Terms & Principles, Diagrams & Images, Experiments & Activities, and Biographies. Entries range from short definitions to encyclopedia articles.
