Free, with Your Library Card

eBooks

If you have a library card from Harris County Public Library, in addition to borrowing books and other materials from our building, you also have access to thousands of digital items through our web site. You can borrow electronic books (eBooks), download audio-books, stream movies and music, and flip through digital magazines, all for free! There are even fun, colorful eBooks for small children. The computer or device will turn the pages, read the books aloud and highlight the words as it reads. If you would like to know how you can access and use these free resources, come to our class in the library’s computer lab on Friday, October 20, from 1:30-3:00 pm.
