Snow Day

Do you guys remember the snow we had at the beginning of the month? The Aldine Branch staff sure does. In fact, we made a video highlighting how we spent our breaks on that day.

You can check it out on our YouTube Channel as well, along with other videos.

Teen Programs for the New Year

Teens, be looking for new programming in 2010 at the Aldine Branch. The Digital Storytelling class will be winding down for a while, as will the Study Hall on Tuesday. Don’t worry because they will be back. Until then, be on the lookout for expanded computer classes for teens and some different programs.

Don't Tread on Me

Did you know the image of a rattlesnake, first employed by Benjamin Franklin in a newspaper cartoon, was a popular symbol of protest against British injustice? Aldine library customers can learn more about the First Navy Jack flag- and other historical American flags- by taking a look at our book display case in the lobby. A set of flags will be on display during the month of December.

Stop by today and catch a glimpse of American history.
