I Have a Dream Clouds

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was an important leader in the Civil Rights Movement. His “I Have a Dream” speech encouraged people to join the movement and helped end segregation. He dreamed that one day racism would end and people would be treated as equals. His dream changed the world! What do you dream of changing in the world? We will be celebrating Black History Month by honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. For the whole month of February you can write or draw on a cloud what you would like to change in the world. You can find the clouds at the checkout desk and they will be displayed in the children’s area.
