Election Day for Primary Voting - March 4th

Tuesday, March 4th, is Primary Election Day from 7 am to 7 pm. In the City of Galena Park, Democrats and Republicans will vote at separate locations. Democrats will vote at Galena Park City Hall - 2000 Clinton Drive. Republicans will vote at the Galena Park Library- 1500 Keene Street. The League of Women Voters of Houston Education Fund makes available the LWV Voters Guide at the Galena Park Branch Library. This nonpartisan election material in newspaper format includes "Things Voters Should Know" about the candidates running in the upcoming Primary Election.  For more information, you may go to www.lwvhouston.org

Train To Be An ESL Tutor @ North Channel Library

tutor training Have you ever thought about becoming an ESL Tutor?  The North Channel Library will host an ESL Tutor Training on Saturday, March 29th from 10am to 3:30pm.  You can volunteer to tutor at any branch library and all materials are provided.  Please register for this training by calling the library at 281-457-1631 and help someone reach their goals.
