Lil' Seuss Storytime

Bring your toddlers (ages 18 months to 3 years) to our Lil’ Seuss Story Time on Wednesday March 2 at 10:30am.  For a Seusstastical Seusstravoganza of Seussical Stories.

Also don’t forget to bring your kids to our Doctor Seuss Story Time & Craft on Tuesday March 1 at 10:30am.

Beloved Book Characters Visit 5 Library Branches

In honor of Read Across America Day on Wednesday, March 2nd, some of our favorite characters from Main Street Theater will visit five library locations after school and share their stories.  There's Madeline, the French schoolgirl, Moose, the hungry guest from If You Give a Moose a Muffin, Drover, Hank the Cowdog's loyal sidekick, Farmer Alfalfa, the corn growing goat from Busytown, and our favorite Herdman from The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, young Gladys Herdman.

Peanut Butter Pie

Be at High Meadows at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, February 15.  Learn about George Washington Carver and how to make a delicious dessert at the same time.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Black History Month Art Contest

1. Be between the ages of 13 and 18.
2. Create a piece of art for black history month.  Drawing, sculpture—be creative.
3. Turn it in at High Meadows by Monday, February 28.
4. Include a cover sheet with your name and contact information.
