Help someone gain these opportunities! High Meadows Branch Library, located at 4500 Aldine Mail Route, will host a training session on Oct. 17 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for volunteers who would like to help adults gain literacy skills for work purposes, to help their children in school, or for countless other uses. Second language ability is not required for tutors, and materials including lesson activities are provided.
