We're having our annual Holiday Story Time with Mayor Nunez and special guest the Galena Park High School Choir, on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 6:30 pm.  The program will be in our Meeting Room.  Hope you can come and join us!

Microsoft Office Computer Classes

Computer ClassComputer classes at your Jacinto City Library this month will be focusing on Microsoft Office, which include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher. These classes are divided into different levels to better assist students. Newcomers can join the beginner classes and those with more experience can join our intermediate or expert classes. Computer classes in English are: Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. and Thursdays at 11:00 a.m.

check markEarly voting in Harris County ended on Friday, November 2. Over 700,000 people voted early, which is a new record. The previous record stood at 678,312 in the 2008 presidential election. Election Day - Tuesday, November 6 - will be the last chance voters get to cast their ballots. Polling locations will be open from 7:00 a.m. till 7:00 p.m. Voters will have to go to their designated polling location in order to vote. Once you click "Search," your polling location will be given. Be sure to exercise your right to vote!
