JC SRP 2014 Elementary Elements Board

Jacinto City Branch Library has a Literary Elements board in the library to post your favorite titles on!  Come in and add your favorite titles of books and movies to the categories of the Literary Elements poster, the theme of the Adult Summer Reading Program.  Look at the attached picture to see how many we've posted! 

Movie Time at Jacinto City Branch Library

It's Movie Time on Saturday's at the Jacinto City Branch Library.  Every Saturday from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm we are showing a movie in the Meeting Room.  Come and join us!

Teen Electronic Games Party Today!

Passing of Maya Angelou, 86 years old

Poet Maya Angelou has passed away at the age of 86.  Ms. Angelou was famous for her books, such as  "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings", "I Wouldn't Take Nothing for My Journey Now" and many other titles.  For more information on Maya Angelou, go to http://mayaangelou.com.

American Red Cross 133rd Founding Anniversary

May 21st is the 133rd founding anniversary of the American Red Cross by Clara Barton.  In 1864 the Red Cross was founded in Switzerland by representatives from 16 European nations.   For more information on the American Red Cross go to www.redcross.org.
