Get moving with JumpStart!

The end of July is already here! It’s hard to get enough exercise out in the Houston heat, so if you want your kids to get a workout bring them to our Kids Korner on Wednesday, July 28th at 4 PM. JumpStart will be here to keep your kids moving and having a ton of fun!

Cool off at the library!

Are you looking for a fun way to cool off this summer? Join us for our Sunday @ the Movies! Every Sunday we show a great movie starting at 2 PM. We offer movies for a wide variety of audiences, so be sure and call the Branch for title and rating information in advance!

Sergio R. wearing his silly jester hat.

The following note and picture was sent in by the mother of Sergio R. (3 years old):

Here is the picture of Sergio and his mommy after enjoying an "I Spy" book and
making a pair of "silly hats" yesterday at the library.  He was so proud of himself
and wore it all day. He could not stop telling daddy about having colored and rolled
the "triangles" and stapling them to the "rectangle". :)
