Come to Teen Time Monday at 4:00 pm (late arrivals are welcome) to make this anchor bracelet.  We'll also have snacks and a movie.  All teens 12-18 are welcome.

New Books For The New Year

Second Session of Infant Storytime coming to Katherine Tyra @ Bear Creek Library starting January 7

Infant StorytimeWhat’s new in 2016?  The Katherine Tyra @ Bear Creek Library is adding a second session of our weekly Infant Storytime.  We will now be offering one session on Tuesdays at 11:15 am and an additional second session on Thursdays at 10:30 am.  Infant Storytime is a thirty minute program for children ages birth to 18 months and their caregivers.  The goal of this program is to share information to assist with early literacy and motor skill development. We sing songs, learn finger plays, share stories and enjoy a social time filled with bubbles and books.  This is a ticketed program so please remember to pick up your child’s ticket at our information desk the morning of the program.  Come join the fun at the library!    

Preschool Storytime: Imagination

Happy New Year everyone! Join us on Tuesday, January 5th at 10:30 AM for an imagination filled Preschool Storytime! A free ticket is required to attend Preschool Storytime; tickets are available at the Information Desk starting at 10:00 AM. This program is intended for children ages 3-5 years.

Free Play Thursday, December 31 at 10:30 @ Katherine Tyra

Free PlayPlease join us Thursday, December 31, at 10:30 am for Free Play in the Katherine Tyra Library meeting room.  This program is open to children, ages ranging from infant to 5 years of age, and their caregivers.  This is a come and go play time, allowing children the opportunity to grow, learn and play both on their own and with other children.  While you are at the library check out some family activity books for you and your child to enjoy.
