Lily’s Library Tales WILL be held Saturday, August 12 at 2:00 pm

Golden RetrieverPlease join us on Saturday, August 12, at 2:00 pm for a fun, family storytime with Lily, a trained therapy dog, and Betsy, her person.  This program is located in our children’s area and is for the entire family. 

Only thunder, Lily’s nemesis, will keep our brave dog and her person from coming to share a story with all of their storytime friends. 

We hope to see you there.

Lily's Library Tales

Join Lily, a certified therapy dog, and Ms. Betsy, her person, in the children’s area of the library this Saturday, August 5th at 2:00 PM for Lily’s Library Tales, a family storytime for children of all ages! No tickets are required to attend this program. Lily would love to see you there!

Please note that there will be no Lily’s Library Tales on Saturday, August 12th, but Lily and Ms. Betsy will be back on Saturday, August 19th.

Ronald McDonald Friendship Adventure at Katherine Tyra @ Bear Creek Library

Ronald McDonaldFriendship is magical and full of adventures.  Join us on Thursday, August 10, at 2:00 PM as Ronald McDonald takes us on a Friendship Adventure.  Ronald will use magic, music and play to teach us about friendship, cooperation and saying no to bullying. 

This is a ticketed program.  Free tickets will be available in our library starting one hour before the show, while supplies last.  

Last Week to Register for the Summer Reading Program!

There is only one more week left to sign up for the Summer Reading Program before registration ends on Saturday, August 5th! Sign up and log your books and activities at www.hcpl.net and win prizes for all of the reading and learning activities you have done this summer.

Summer Reading is open to all ages. Earn 10 points for every book you read, 5 points for 20 minutes of reading, 5 points for activities, and 5 points for book reviews. You earn a prize for every 100 points (up to 500 points).

While registration ends on August 5th, you have until Saturday, August 19th to log your books and activities and pick up your prizes!
