New Volunteer Orientation

We’ll be having a New Volunteer Orientation on July 6th at 6:30 PM.  You’ll learn more about the volunteer opportunities available at the library.  All ages are welcome, though anyone under the age of 12 must volunteer with a parent or guardian who has also attended the orientation.  You can pick up an application at the Information Desk.



Gamers Galore!

Come to Teen Time Monday at 3 pm for gaming of the Wii-U and Tabletop variety. There will be Smash Bros., traditional board games, and some not so traditional board games. Teens and tweens 10-18 are welcome.

Search and Rescue Dogs

Last Tuesday at our Summer Fun program, we had some very special guests—Mary Jane and Kristen from K-9 Search and Rescue TX, along with their dogs Millie and Isaac.  They told us a lot about the demanding job of Search and Rescue work and how they train the dogs for the work.  We were even able to see a demonstration of the dogs searching and see their joy at being rewarded for a

Summer Fun: Superhero Costumes

Join us on Tuesday, June 30th at 3:00 PM for Summer Fun! This week we will be making superhero capes and masks. Summer Fun is geared towards school age children. Families are welcome.  A free ticket is required to attend this program. Tickets will be available at the Information Desk one hour before the program starts. First come, first served.
