Volunteer @ Your Library

Are you or someone that you know interested in volunteering at the library?  Join us for our New Volunteer Orientation Monday, October 5th at 6:30 PM to find out more about volunteering at our branch.  Please bring your Volunteer application, signed by a parent or guardian, with you to the Orientation.  If you need an application, you may pick one up at the Orientation.  Anyone under the age of 12 must volunteer with a parent or guardian.

Hispanic Heritage Month Storytime

Join us for Preschool Storytime on Tuesday, September 29th at 10:30 AM. This week we will be celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month and enjoying bilingual stories and songs. Remember, you need a free ticket to attend Preschool Storytime, so make sure you get one from the Information Desk before the program starts. Preschool Storytime is geared towards children ages 3-5 years.

It’s Time to Fall into Toddler Time @ Katherine Tyra Library


Katherine Tyra Toddlers, bring your adult with you on Wednesday, September 30 at 10:30 am or 11:00 am as we read Mouse's First Fall by Lauren Thompson.   Be sure to come early, this is a ticketed program. Tickets may be picked up at the Information Desk on the day of the program.  We can't wait to see you on Wednesday for some Fall fun. 

Tween Craft: Arm Warmers!

Fall has started (technically) and temperatures are going to start to drop (remember the cold snap in October last year?).  So come to the Tuesday Tween Craft on September 29 at 4:30 pm to make some very fashionable arm warmers.  All kids 8-13 are welcome.
