Everyone's invited to Teen Time on Monday, December 21 at  4:00 pm to watch Classic Christmas Cartoons. There will be hot cocoa (the meeting room should be cold enough, even if it's not outside) and candy canes. Some come and relive your childhood, or enjoy it if you are still experiencing it!

Preschool Picassos: Toy Printing

Join us on Thursday, December 17th at 10:30 AM for Preschool Picassos! This week our little artists will be using toys and paint to create their masterpieces. Preschool Picassos is an art program geared towards children ages 3 years and up.  Art can be a little messy, so come prepared!

Hats, Coats and Mittens at Katherine Tyra Toddler Time, Wednesday, December 16

Honey with his booksHoney, our storytime mascot, is learning how to dress himself for colder weather.  Please join Ms. Melinda and Honey this week as we explore getting dressed for the winter.

There are two sessions of Toddler Time each Wednesday.  Session 1 begins at 10:30 followed by Session 2 at 11:00 am.  This is a ticketed program, so please stop by the information desk, on the morning of the event, to pick up your ticket.  We will see you there.

Next week Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens comes to theaters amid hords of Storm Troopers, Wookies, and various other fans awaiting with baited breath to either praise J.J. Abrams or well... But let me point out  these fabulous graphic novels based on the Star Wars franchise Jeffrey Brown has created.  They tell the story very sweetly of Darth Vader raising Luke and Leia.
