Wear something green next week as we celebrate the week of St. Patrick's Day by reading stories about "things that are green". While I can give my word not to pinch any small children , I cannot speak for those more mischievous than myself.
A drabble is a writing practice where a topic is given and then the authors write 100 words or less on the topic. It's purpose is to get the author writing and is often used as a warm up excercise. So your challenge if you choose to accept it is to write a drabble on this topic:
You are standing at the top of the volcano surrounded by angry villagers about to be pushed in. How did you get here?

The Bear Creek Book Club met on Wednesday, March 3rd and discussed the book My Antonia by Willa Cather. They will meet again On April 7th at 7 pm to discuss The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery.
