Preschool Storytime: In the Jungle

Join us for Preschool Storytime on Tuesday, March 8th at 10:30 AM. This week we will be reading about animals that live in the jungle. You need a free ticket to attend this storytime, so make sure to grab one from the information desk before the program starts. Preschool Storytime is geared towards children ages 3-5 years. Come Learn, Grow and Play at Infant Storytime at Katherine Tyra @ Bear Creek Library

trainCome join us as we sing, read and play on Tuesdays at 11:15 AM or Thursdays at 10:30 AM.  Come bond with your baby over bubbles and books. This is a wonderful program where both babies and caregivers make new friends and learn new songs, rhymes and finger plays. 

Infant Storytime is a program for children from birth to 18 months of age.  This is a ticketed program. Tickets are available at the information desk starting at 10:00 AM on the day of the program.

Teen Tech Week: Fun with Robots!

Come celebrate Teen Tech Week  by playing with Robots on Monday at 4:00 pm.  We'll have a Sphero and BB-8 for the teens to experiment with.  All teens are welcome and snacks will be provided.

Computer Class: Tablets

Needing tablet help? Katherine Tyra Library is having a computer class this Friday, March 4th at 1:30 PM. We will be learning how to use tablets to access the HCPL website and eBook resources. Please bring your tablet with you, none will be provided.

We will be meeting in the magazine area. This class is free and open to the public. Look forward to seeing you there!

New Volunteer Orientation

Are you or someone that you know interested in volunteering at the library?  Join us for our New Volunteer Orientation Wednesday, March 2nd at 6:30 PM to find out more about volunteering at our branch.  Please bring your Volunteer application, signed by a parent or guardian, with you to the Orientation.  If you need an application, you may pick one up at the Orientation or in advance from the Information Desk.  Anyone under the age of 12 must volunteer with a parent or guardian.
