KATY KNOTTY & NICE CLUB

Do you like to knit or crochet?  Would you like to learn this fun, relaxing craft?  The Katy Knotty and Nice Club is the place to do both.  The group meets every Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the library’s meeting room.  Bring your project to work on or bring some yarn and needles, and our experienced knitters will get you started.

Saving Seeds from your Garden

Dandelion seedLearn how to harvest seeds from your garden plants with a Master Gardener next Thursday, 7/10, at 11:00am.  The library's garden club meets at this time the 2nd Thursday of every month.  After the lesson, browse through the seed exchange library to see what you might like to try out.  Or bring in extra seed you don't want to keep.

YAY! IT'S ICE CREAM MONTH!

July is National ice cream month, so be sure to cool down with a cold, sweet treat this month.  Learn more about the National designation, the history of ice cream, as well as some yummy recipes at ice-cream-recipes.com.  Enjoy!

TEENS: CELEBRATE INDEPENDENCE DAY

Teens celebrate Independence Day in our teen program on Monday, June 30 at 2:30 p.m.  Create patriotic designs with chalk art and make a flag windchime.  Don't forget to log your books or the minutes you have read in our Summer Reading Program,  Spark a Reaction.
