Katy Branch - Spanish Book Club/Club Hispano de Libros

The Spanish Book Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm.  Spanish speakers, join us when we discuss Pequeñas Infamias by Carmen Posadas on November 3.

     The R.E.A.D. dogs willl be in the Katy Branch Library on Saturday, October 30 from 1:00 to 2:30 pm, and they're ready to celebrate Halloween.  Come on in and read your favorite scary story to one of them.  The Reading Education Assistance Dogs are trained therapy dogs.  These dogs, along with their handlers provide an irresistible, fun enviornment for children to practice their reading skills.  Registration is recommended.  Call 281-391-3509 or stop by the reference desk.
