The Week @ the Katy Library – September 21st Edition

Saturday, 9/26, our Friends of the Katy Library group is having their annual brunch. If you’re interested in finding out what being a Friend is all about, come join us at 10:00am.

On Thursday, 9/24, we’re having our monthly Library Database Class. What’s a library database? It’s a subscription that the library purchased so that you don’t have to get your own subscription. You can get things like Consumer Reports articles, access to genealogy records, car maintenance help, homework help, and more. Most of it can be accessed from home 24 hours a day using your library card and our website. Not a bad deal!

Historical American Flag Display

Stop and take a look at the display in our lobby display case of historical American flags.

Flags include The Betsy Ross Flag, the First Navy Jack Flag, and the Bunker Hill Flag.
