Print Books vs Ebooks

BookI love ebooks.  I love print books.  I love audiobooks.  Thankfully, the library has ALL of them.  It may interest you to know that with the explosion of ebooks and ereaders, you (as the Harris County Public Library customer) still gravitate to the print form.  Last month, you checked out over 600,000 in-branch items (about 20,000 from the Katy Branch).  In the same month, you checked out over 76,000 ebooks.  Whatever form they publish... as long as they keep coming, right?  Enjoy your book today.

CELEBRATING DR. SEUSS

The Katy Library is embracing Dr. Seuss this month.  Stop by the library and see our great display of Truffula trees and check out a Seuss book. Remember:You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child.
