Emergency If you live in or around the City of Katy, you'll want to sign up for the City's new notification system.  With the new service, city leaders can send personalized voice messages to residents and businesses within minutes with specific information about time-sensitive or common-interest issues such as emergencies and local community matters.  For more information and to sign up, click here.

Learn to use this popular social networking site on Thursday, February 12  from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Although the class is designed for beginners, attendees must be comfortable surfing the web.  Registration is requested.  Visit www.hcpl.net or call the library at 281-391-3509 to reserve your spot.

Last Week with Mr. Bryan

YOGA @ THE LIBRARY

Yoga is a great way to relax and get in shape.  The Katy Branch Library will host a volunteer taught yoga class on the first and third Saturdays of the month starting February 7, 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.  Attendees are asked to bring their own yoga mats and to refrain from eating 2 to 3 hours before class.
