Howl A Ween Tonight!

Take your furry friend trick or treating tonight at 6:00pm at the City of Katy "Howl a Ween at the Dog Park."  You can even enter Fido in a costume contest!  Price of admission?  A bag of dog food to be donated to a local shelter.  For more details, contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 281-391-4840.

Gulf Coast Reads - Movie & ScrabbleFest

Extremely Loud & Incredibly CloseSaturday, 10/27 - put it on your calendar!  We'll be celebrating the 2012 Gulf Coast Read book, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, in another way: a showing of the movie at 11:00am followed by a ScrabbleFest at 1:30pm.  Stop in for one or both.

   The Gulf Coast Reads program may be winding down, but the fun at Katy Branch is still going strong. There’s one week left to complete our Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close-themed scavenger hunt! Come by the branch and pick up a map- then follow the clues for a chance to win some great prizes.

KIDS ROBOTICS ACADEMY

  The Kids Robotic Academy will come to the Katy Branch Library once again to introduce children to the amazing world of   robotics. Kids will learn the process of designing, building, and programming a robot, which will be capable of doing incredible things! Saturday, October 20, 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. Registration is required.
