Join us for multilingual storytime on Monday, December 27, at 11:00, as we prepare for New Year's Eve.  After stories and songs, children will make noisemakers to ring in the new year.

Jigsaw puzzleIf you have extra time over the next month, come help us finish our 1000-piece Winter jigsaw puzzle, located near the Reference Desk.  As of today, the sides are connected plus a few sections of the picture.  For the little ones, we also have an easier puzzle on a table nearby. 

Katy Branch - Who Dun It @ the Library Mystery Group

Start off the New Year by joining this dedicated group of mystery lovers.  They next meet on Saturday, January 8 at 10:30am here at the Katy Branch and will discuss Think of a Number by John Verdon.  Ask at our circulation desk for a copy for you to read over the holidays!

AN OLD FASHIONED KATY CHRISTMAS

                                Katy Market Days will host “A Katy Old Fashioned Christmas,” including 20,000 pounds of snow, photos with Santa, a Christmas Village with a train, live entertainment and more. The event also includes a canned food drive benefitting Katy Christian Ministries.  Saturday, December 18 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Avenue B between 2nd and 3rd streets.
