More Holiday Fun

Another family enjoying our Holidays Kickoff Day - this time making crafts!  Who knew you could make such cute things using toilet paper rolls -such as santas, reindeer, elves, and angels?

Santa was here!

And as you can see, it was a family affair!  You can now also view the other pictures that were taken with Santa on December 3,  available on flickr.

Are you dreaming of a white Christmas?  The Katy Market Days will make your dream come true.  On Saturday, December 17, snow will arrive at noon at Avenue B in Old Town Katy.  Katy's Old Fashioned Christmas Festival will take place 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.  Along with snow, there will be food, entertainment, market vendors and even Santa.  The event is free, but visitors are asked to bring donations of canned goods for Katy Christian Ministries.

Time to Tote Your Toys Has Passed

The Katy Branch was again a drop-off station for Toys for Tots - thank you for your donations - they are now on their way to happy children!

The Tender Loving K-9 dogs will celebrate the holidays with us on Saturday, December 3 from 1:00 to 2:00.     These trained therapy dogs along with their handlers provide an irresistible, fun way for children to practice their reading skills.  Stop by the library to register your child for a reading session with one of the dogs, or call 281-391-3509.
