Katy Book & Bite Club

There's still time!  We still have copies available of Like Water for Chocolate by Laura Esquivel, this month's Book and Bite Club selection.  And with a title like that, who knows what goodies will be served along with it!  This book discussion group meets this Thursday, August 30, at 12:30pm.

School starts next week, and if your little one needs a little encouragement about starting school for the first time, or starting a new school, the Katy Branch Library has just the right books for reassurance.

In Lauren Child’s, I Am Too Absolutely Small for School, Lola’s brother reassures her of the fun she’ll have.

Pixel Pals @ Katy Branch

At 6pm on Wednesday, August 22, join the Katy Branch Library anime club for a special craft night- Perler bead Pixel Pals! Bring in a color printout of your favorite pixel picture or choose from one of the provided images, and make it into a patch, badge, or pendant. We’ll also be watching the movie Summer Wars. This program is for ages 12 and up.
