Two New Tech Topics This Month

Tech ManStarting tomorrow, the Katy Library has two new tech topics to teach you: Facebook & OneClickDigital.  On July 6th & 20th at 1:30PM, you can get the latest scoop on how to use Facebook's new "timeline" format.  Then, on July 7th & 21st at 2:00PM learn about the library's new e-audio books (called OneClickDigital) that never have a waiting list and can be renewed over and over.  Two new tech topics to tempt you!


Calling all budding artists!  The Houston Museum of Fine Arts will be holding art camp at the Katy Branch Library on July 9 - 13. from 10:00 a.m. to noon.  Registration is required and is limited to 25 students, ages 8 to 12.  Investigate works of art from Picasso to Francois Pascal Simon Gerard and create your own work of art.  Stop by the library's reference desk to register.   

Rock Out at the Monster Ball

Monster DJAre you ready for a monster of a party? Put on your freaky-chic finest and visit us at the Monster Ball! Stop by Katy Library on Monday, August 6 at 2:30 pm for an afternoon of creepy fun and creepy food.

Katy Book & Bite Club

 It will soon be time to get together for a snack and great conversation!  This month's selection for the Book & Bite Club is The Buddha in the Attic by Julie Otsuka.  We'll meet on Thursday, June 28 at 12:30pm - stop by our circulation desk and ask for a copy to check out.
