The Kids Robotic Academy will come to the Katy Branch Library to introduce children to the amazing world of robotics.  Kids will learn the process of designing, building, and programming a robot, which will be capable of doing incredible things!   Tuesday, August 14, 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.  Registration is required.  Stop by the Reference Desk or call 281-391-3509 to register.

Homemade Monster HeadThe teen Monster Ball is this Monday, 8/06 at 2:30pm.  Come in costume; wear your monster head; make a creepy craft; eat some spooky food; race like a mummy; have fun!

PSAT Practice Test

Teens, it's time to sign up for another practice test - this time, the PSAT, which is a precursor to the SAT and is also the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.  The PSAT/NMSQT is cosponsored by the College Board and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.  The practice test given by Kaplan will be on Saturday, August 11 at 10:30 - you can call or stop by the library to register.

Three Teen Mondays Left for Summer

MonsterDon't miss the last three teen Mondays here at the Katy Library.  On July 23, we're making our own monster heads.  Then, we'll be hosting the Weird Olympics on July 30.  And don't miss the Monster Ball on August 6 where you can wear your monster head, eat crawly things, and make creepy crafts under black light.  All of our Monday teen programs start at 2:30pm.
