The Week @ the Katy Library – September 21st Edition

Saturday, 9/26, our Friends of the Katy Library group is having their annual brunch. If you’re interested in finding out what being a Friend is all about, come join us at 10:00am.

On Thursday, 9/24, we’re having our monthly Library Database Class. What’s a library database? It’s a subscription that the library purchased so that you don’t have to get your own subscription. You can get things like Consumer Reports articles, access to Ancestry.com genealogy records, car maintenance help, homework help, and more. Most of it can be accessed from home 24 hours a day using your library card and our website. Not a bad deal!

The Week @ the Katy Library – September 14th Edition

This week we’re starting our Teen Chill Zone! – a place for teens to hang out after school at 3:30pm on Mondays & Wednesdays. We’ll have snacks, laptops, games, and more.

On Wednesday at 6:00pm is our monthly Mosaico Cultural – a program completely in Spanish. This month’s topic is “Como salir de deudas gratis. Como preparar un testamento. Como planear su futuro.”

If you took the Practice SAT at the library on 9/12, come back in at 1:00pm this Saturday, 9/19, to get your results and to learn strategies for doing better next time.

As always, we have programs every week for every age. Come in & see!
