Fiesta Hispana a Success!

Our Fiesta Hispana program celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month was a huge success!  The Katy Library would like to thank all volunteers, participants and attendees for making this a great year.  Everyone really enjoyed the music, dancing, learning about the culture and of course, the snacks!  Once again, thank you all so much!  We can't wait for next year!

At 11:00 am, guitarist Kyle Comer, of Da Camera of Houston, will present a "concert talk" celebrating Hispanic heritage.  His group will perform and discuss music and composers of Hispanic heritage, bringing a multicultural musical performance to our library and hoping to help families connect to our diverse city!

At 1:00 pm, we will have our Fiesta Hispana, our annual celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.  There will be dance performances, musical performances and traditional foods.
