Overdrive Digital Bookmobile is coming to Kingwood Branch Library!

Are you among the many who now download digital copies of library materials?  If not, would you like to know how?  Be sure to come Tuesday, December 14th, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm for a visit from the Overdrive Digital Bookmobile at Kingwood Branch Library!  Staff will be available to offer free demonstrations on how to download ebooks and eaudio to a variety of devices.  Also, taking a tour through the bookmobile automatically makes you eligible for a raffle to win a digital ebook reader or mp3 player!  Take a look at the video below to see what goes on at one of the many stops the Bookmobile makes across the country:

"Mysterious Mondays" Snowflakes

Snowflakes will be whirling and turning in the Children's Activity Room on Monday, December 6 at 4pm.  Come bring your school aged children to have some fun making this craft.  There will be pasting and, of course, some glitter and glue.  As Miss Connie says, "There never can be too much glitter!"

Kids, join us for our next Dragoneers meeting, Thursday, December 9th at 4 pm. We will be making homemade bath salts you can keep for yourself or give as Christmas gifts. Be ready to talk about the mystery or detective book you read in November.

Study Hall :)

So I've totally decided we need a study hall here @ the library  Ya'll are totally here anways, so why not make homework fun? I was thinking on Thursdays ya'll could meet in the YA room and I would provide snacks  I'd set out snacks about 4:30, so if you're coming to the library to study, come on a Thursday with your friends and take an hour to socialize and snack. Free food, time with friends and helping each other with homework? Can it get any better?
