Teen Comic Club @ KingwoodCalling all teen comic and graphic novels fans! Hangout with fellow fans and discuss the latest comics you’re reading and the newest movies & shows. On Thursday, February 4 from 6:30-7:30 in the Conference Room, we’re talking about the best graphic novels we’ve read that don’t have superheroes in them. Join us for snacks and great comic fun!

"The Heart Truth" - Tues. Feb. 2 @ 10 am

In recognition of American Heart Month, join us this Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 10:00 am with TriCare’s LeeAnn Hyatt.  Learn about heart disease symptoms, risk factors, prevention, heart failure, and more.  This program is sponsored by the Kingwood Senior Adult Program (KSAP).   Refreshments are compliments of Friends of the Library Kingwood (F.O.L.K).

Morning Movie! Friday, Jan. 29th @ 10


Join us this Friday, January 29, 2016, at 10:00 AM for a morning movie and munchies.   Our featured film is Warner Brothers  "The Candidate” ©  -  a comedy-drama  about  candidate  Republican Crocker Jarmon (Don Porter), who is on his way to re-election by a landslide, a young, honest, idealistic lawyer  (Robert Redford) begins to learn the truth about running for office.  This programs is a part of the Kingwood Senior Adult Program (KSAP).   Light refreshments are generously provided by F.O.L. K.

February & March 2016 Fun4Seniors Trips departing from Kingwood Branch Library

Fun4SeniorsHarris County Precinct 4's Senior Adult Program is offering the following Fun4Seniors Excursion Trips for library customers in February and March 2016. Participating is simple. Participants must be 50 years and older and must register for trips by calling 281-893-3726. All trips depart from and return to Kingwood Branch Library located at 4400 Bens View Lane, Kingwood TX 77339. Transportation is free and lunch is on your own. Some destinations require an admission fee. All trips require registering by calling 281-893-3726 in order to participate.

Are you a teen who wants to volunteer at the library? Then the Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is for you! Our monthly Teen Advisory Group meeting is on Monday, January 25 from 6-7. Make buttons for the button battle and prepare for programs; learn how to adopt a shelf at the library; tell us what programs you want! It’s a great way to earn community service hours while having fun.
