Hi Neighbor Presents 2015 Memorial Books to Kingwood Branch Library

Each year Hi Neighbor Club - Kingwood honors the memory of those members who passed away during the previous year. Ethel Bailey was the only member to be so memorialized in 2015. Christi Whittington, Branch Librarian, joined Debbie Campbell, President of Hi Neighbor, Nancy Foisner, Parliamentarian of Hi Neighbor, and Linda Herndon, Ethel’s daughter to look over the books that have been placed in the Kingwood Branch Library by Hi Neighbor in memory Ethel Bailey.

 M'Lynn  is the mother of bride-to-be Shelby, and as friend Truvy  fixes the women's hair for the ceremony, they welcome a helping hand from aspiring beautician Annelle.  Time passes, and the women and their friends encounter tragedy and good fortune, growing stronger and closer in the process.

March & April 2016 Fun4Seniors Trips departing from Kingwood Branch Library

HCP4 Fun4SeniorsHarris County Precinct 4's Senior Adult Program is offering the following Fun4Seniors Excursion Trips for library customers in March and April 2016. Participating is simple. Participants must be 50 years and older and must register for trips by calling 281-893-3726. All trips depart from and return to Kingwood Branch Library located at 4400 Bens View Lane, Kingwood TX 77339. Transportation is free and lunch is on your own. Some destinations require an admission fee. All trips require registering by calling 281-893-3726 in order to participate.
