Happy Holidays from Kingwood Branch Library!

Merry Christmas from the Kingwood Branch Library staff!  Recently, the library hosted a food drive to benefit Humble Area Assistance Ministries.  Overall, it was a successful program.  Thanks to all of those in the public who participated and donated!

If you like, take a look at some of the pictures of the event here, or enjoy below the harmonious carolling of the Madrigals from Kingwood High School!

Teens luv Overdrive :)

So if you're like me, you love Overdrive  I love audiobooks and Adobe PDF books. I've got several e-readers and iPods and MP3 players @ home, so I love, love, love the digital format! While I still love a good old-fashioned paperback, I absolutely swoon over digital format. I can have 10 books on my e-reader and carry them all with me @ one time!!! Fabulosity!!! So tomorrow, the Overdrive Bus will be here all day. You totally have to check this thing out. I've seen it before @ another branch, and it's amazing. Plus, if you have any questions, you can play with the equipment they have and get all your questions answered. Awesome-possum!!!

"Mysterious Mondays" Snowflakes

Snowflakes will be whirling and turning in the Children's Activity Room on Monday, December 6 at 4pm.  Come bring your school aged children to have some fun making this craft.  There will be pasting and, of course, some glitter and glue.  As Miss Connie says, "There never can be too much glitter!"
