As part of Codename Gener8, teens can learn how to code games in this 1-hour introductory course to game development. Teens will learn JavaScript for games on Friday, January 22, 4:30-5:30 in the Computer Lab.No registration is necessary.

In this program, attendees will learn tips from Professional Organizer Ellen Delap and Interior Decorator Leslie Sarmiento. This program is free to attend; no registration is required.

Citizenship Classes beginning January 16th @ Kingwood Branch Library

United States FlagBeginning Saturday, January 16th, Kingwood Branch Library is offering a 10-week course on preparing for the United States Citizenship exam. Individuals must be able commit to the all sessions as the courses follow instruction and lesson plans. Attending the first class tomorrow is not necessary; individuals must begin and commit to the following classes beginning January 23rd. 

All classes will meet on Saturdays from 1:00 PM to 3:45 PM through March 19th in the 2nd Floor Conference Room. Classes are taught in English; study materials are provided by HCPL. Participation is free; registration is required as space and supplies are limited. Please note this course does not grant citizenship and does not cover the cost of the exam

Senior Living & Care Options Jan. 19th @ 10

Trying to balance your own health, family, work, and finances can be overwhelming.  Join us on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 At 10:00 AM for Coffee & Conversation while getting information and advice from local Senior Living & Care Advisors Sandy Dallas and Mariann Wise.  Educate yourself about the resources that can help your loved ones, and see if other family members can also help.  This activity is a part of the Kingwood Senior Adult Program (KSAP).  Light refreshments are generously provided by F.O.L.K, Grace Hospice & Atria Senior Living.

KSAP- GAME PLAY - Jan 12. @ 10 AM

On Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 10:00 AM, The Kingwood Senior Adult Program (KSAP) meets for a 2-hour game-play session.  Games will include rummikub, Wii bowling, dominos, playing cards, board and dice games.  Light refreshments are generously provided by F.O.L.K.
