3d printingSchool is back in session and so are our standard young adult programs in addition to a few special ones. Listed below are upcoming activities for teens for September 2016.

New Citizenship course begins Saturday, September 10th through November 12th; register by 9/17

United States FlagBeginning Saturday, September 10th, Kingwood Branch Library is offering a 10-week course on preparing for the United States Citizenship exam. Individuals must be able commit to the all sessions as the courses follow instruction and lesson plans. Individuals must begin and commit to the following classes beginning September 17th.

All classes will meet on Saturdays from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM through November 12th in the 2nd Floor Conference Room. Classes are taught in English; study materials are provided by HCPL. Participation is free; registration is required as space and supplies are limited. Please note this course does not grant citizenship and does not cover the cost of the exam.

Write your Family History this Thursday, 9/8 @ 10:30 AM

Tues. 9/6 @ 10 am: Craft-Vintage Fabric Wall Decor

Join us!  while supplies last on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 10 am for a DIY vintage wall décor craft. This activity is a part of  the Kingwood Senior Adult Program.  Refreshments are generously provided by F.O.L.K. and the Atria Senior Living.  For more information please contact Adult Services at 281-360-6804.

As school is gearing up so is the Children’s Department at the Kingwood Branch Library!
