New Mystery Book Club meets tomorrow @ 7:00 PM

Reading by Sebastien WiertzKingwood Branch Library is adding another book club this month! Do you like mysteries and desire to be part of a group of readers to share and discuss literature? Join us Wednesday, May 6 at 7:00 PM in the upstairs Conference Room to meet others, lay groundwork, and select the first book to discuss in June. This mystery book club is scheduled to meet the first Wednesday evening of each month.

An "Introduction to Genealogy" is offered to Kingwood residents and surrounding communities. A self-paced, three-lesson class packed full of new concepts, techniques and ideas which will hopefully get you started on your way to a fulfilling lifetime of tracing your family tree. Genealogist Devon Lee is the author of the book titled "Twenty-First Century Family Historian." 3D Printer Open Lab

Kingwood 3D PrinterDo you want to learn how to use a 3D printer and design objects to print out? Teens can learn how during our 3D printer open lab this Thursday, April 28 from 6:30-8:00 in the Computer Lab. Teens can work on their designs for the new NASA challenge from FutureEngineers.

The 3D printer open lab is part of Codename Gener8, a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM)-focused program, and is made possible through a grant from the Best Buy foundation and the generosity of the Friends of the Library-Kingwood (FOLK). Upcycled Memo Box Craft

memo boxEarth Day is officially April 22nd but we're celebrating it a few days later with an upcycled craft on Wednesday, April 27th at 6:30 PM.

Adults are invited to create a portable memo box using tin mint boxes, scrapbook paper, and washi tape. This program is free and open to adults.

Registration is required as space and supplies are limited. All supplies are provided by FOLK. Register online, by calling 281-360-6804, or visiting the Adult Reference Desk on the 2nd Floor of 4400 Bens View Lane, Kingwood TX 77339.
