Foyle's War Discussion, Episode Three!

Juegos y Cantos (Games and Songs) this Wednesday @ 4 PM

JDiaoin us this Wednesday, April 30th, at 4:00 PM in the Children's Activity Room for a special program!  In celebration of  El día de los niños/El día de los libros (Children's Day/Book Day), Crossing Borders will be here to share some games and songs both in English and Spanish.  Come join in on the fun and celebrate Diversity in Action (Día)!

Fun4Seniors May Excursions from Kingwood Branch Library

HCP4 Fun4SeniorsKingwood Branch Library is continuing its partnership with Harris County Precinct 4's Senior Adult Program to offer Fun4Seniors Excursion Trips for library customers in May 2014.

Participating is simple. Participants must be 50 years and better and must register for trips by calling 281-893-3726. All trips depart from and return to Kingwood Branch Library located at 4400 Bens View Lane, Kingwood TX 77339. Transportation is free and lunch is on your own. Some destinations require an admission fee. Please note trips may be cancelled due to low registration so be sure to register immediately!

The Kingwood Branch Library offers free computer and device classes throughout the month. The classes offered for the weeks of April 28 through May 10 are listed below.

TAG LogoLooking to help out the library?  Want to earn community service hours?  Need something else to put on college and scholarship applications?  Check out TAG, the Kingwood Library’s Teen Advisory Group.  This meeting meets the 4th Monday of each month during the school year at 6:30pm for an hour to help brainstorm ideas, prepare for programs, and come up with awesome library displays.  This group is open to all teens and tween ages 12-18 or in grades 6-12.  This month’s program will take place Monday, April 28th in the Teen Area; this will be our last meeting until August.  Questions?  Contact Leanne, YA Librarian, 281-360-6804.  You can also email her by clicking here.
