A Summer Treat for All Ages!!!

Come one, come all to our Teen Game Room this summer for our new line-up of gaming for all ages!  We've opened up our Teen Game Room on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 7:30 PM for all ages, Thursday mornings from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM for families, and Friday mornings from 10:30 - 11:30 AM for adults!  The library's games include the Nintendo Wii and PS3, but gaming enthusiasts may also bring their own games, subject to Game Room rules and Librarian approval. The Heritage Society presents "176 Years of Houston History"

Houston 1943 a rainy dayDo you have a passion for history and love learning? If so, you won't want to miss this! This Thursday, June 27th, The Heritage Society at Sam Houston Park will visit Kingwood Branch Library to do a special presentation on Houston History, from the Austin colony to present. All ages are welcome to attend. This one-hour presentation begins at 10:30am in the 1st Floor Meeting Room. No registration is required. "Russian Souvenir"

Come to the family program and learn interesting facts about Russia, Monday, June 24, at 6:15 pm in the Kingwood Meeting Room just inside the lobby to the right. Russian souvenirs are in our lobby display cases.

Lowe's presents The Beginner's Garden this Saturday

GardeningHave an interest in gardening but feel the process is overwhelming? If so, we have THE program for you! This Saturday, June 22nd at 10:30 AM, a representative of Lowe's will share beginner tips for starting your own garden. This program is open to all ages and no registration is required.

"Martial Arts Demo"

Free tickets for the "Martial Arts Demo" program, Monday, June 24, at 2:15 pm, will be available Thursday, June 20, at the Children's Reference Desk.
