iPads, Kindles, and Nooks! Oh my!

Listed below is our January schedule of classes focusing on borrowing eBooks from the library and learning basic functions and features of popular devices.

These programs are free and open to the public. Classes meet in Computer Lab located on the 2nd floor. Registration is required as space is limited.

Friday, January 4, 1:30 PM - 3 PM: iPad Basics. Learn the basic features and layout of your new device! Please have your Apple ID setup to participate in class.

Come for a Movie in the Children's Activity Room

Come for a free movie Friday, December 28,  at 3 pm  in the Children's Activity Room with free popcorn! You can bring something to drink and a pillow to rest on.

Just to let you know, the Kingwood Library will be open Saturday, December 29, from 10 am to 5 pm, and Monday, December 31, from 1 pm to 5 pm.

Come See a Movie in the Children's Activity Room

Are you looking for something to do with the kids!  Come see a movie with free popcorn  Friday, December 21 at 3 pm.  We will be closing early at 5 pm and won't open again until Thursday, December 27 at 10 am; Toddler Time and LapSit for babies will be at their regular times. There will be no Dragoneers that day.

 Magical Monday craft, December 31, at 4 pm will be a simple New Years treat. We will close that day at 5 pm.

Before you go on holiday...

The Kingwood Branch Library has much to offer for holiday reading and entertainment!  Before we close for the holiday, come check out our holiday displays, new fiction titles, and seasonal romances and mysteries.  Books on cd and entertainment dvds are also available and the tech-savvy can browse our digital media catalog for downloadable eBooks and audio.  For more information, contact the library @ 281-360-6804.

Happenings in the Next Two Weeks

Dragoneers meet Thursday, December 13, at 4 pm for their Award Ceremony. Miss Connie has planned a craft and seasonal snacks.

The Kingwood High School Choir will perform songs of the season in the library, Monday, December 17, at 4 pm.  Magical Monday" reindeer craft will take place on the same day and time in the Children"s Activity Room.

K.R.A.K.E.N. graphic novel book club will meet, Thursday, December 20, at 4 pm.

Just a reminder that the Kingwood Library will be closing early, Friday, December 21 at 5 pm for the holiday.  The library will reopen, Thursday, December 27 at 10 am
