November Children's Events at Kingwood Library

CHILDREN’S WEEKLY RUN-DOWN! November is off to a great start and the Holiday count down has begun. Join us this week for the seventh meeting of the Garden Tower Club on Wednesday the 9th @ 4 PM and World Tour Book Club on Thursday the 10th of November @ 4 PM to explore different countries and their traditions and stories.

Our Story times continue as normal! Be here for Toddler Time** on Tuesday @ 10 AM and @ 10:30 AM, Preschool Storytime on Tuesday @ 2 PM, and Infant Lapsit Storytime @ 11:15 AM on Tuesday and @ 11 AM on Thursday. We also have our Family Storytime presented on Saturday @ 10:30 where you can enjoy stories and a craft!

Teen Button Battle - Starts November 7


All Lord of the Rings fans, the time has come. For the next two weeks, these two heroes of the Fellowship are doing battle! You decide who is better, Aragorn or Legolas? Come by the Teen Area at any time between November 7 – 19 and pick up a button that will cast your vote.

What is a button battle? It’s where teens vote on two of their favorite fandoms by taking a button they can pin to a backpack or anything else. The fandom that has the most buttons taken (aka “votes”), they are the one that wins!

Mystery Book Club & Resume Tips!


Hello, everyone! Are you in the mood for joining fellow mystery enthusiasts in discussing a good novel? The Mystery Book Club is meeting this evening at the Kingwood Branch Library. If you cannot make it tonight, not to worry. The club meets on the first Wednesday of every month from 7-8:45 PM.

Free Line Dance Lessons! Fri. Nov 4 @ 10

You’ve seen it or you’ve heard about it and now you want to learn how to line dance.  Back by popular demand…. Line Dancing! with the volunteers of the Kingwood Community Center. Join us for fun and exercise this Friday, November 4, 2016 at 10 a.m.
