Kingwood Branch Library is participating in Congressman Ted Poe's Military Christmas Card Drive by providing craft materials for folks to create holiday greeting cards to send to our troops overseas.

Now through October 31, anyone can stop by the 2nd Floor Teen Room and make a greeting card or drop one off. Cards should start with "Dear Service Member" and include well wishes, gratitude, and your name. Cards should not include contact information and cannot include glitter or confetti.

For full details and materials, stop by the 2nd Floor Reference Desk.

"Mythology" is our "Ology" for Thursday, October 3, at 4 pm

Mythology, the study of myths will be the "ology" for Thursday, October 3, at 4 pm in the Children's Activity Room.  Since mythology is one of Miss Connie's favorite subjects, this ought to be fun!  (Just look at the castle and  knights on top of our shelves!)  There will be a craft.

Our Saturday Family Storytime  at 10:30 am is growing! Dads, moms, grandparents and kids come to hear some books read to them and make a simple craft to take home.
