YA Book Club Meeting

The YA Book Club will meet this Thursday at 6pm.  This month we will be discussing any book you’ve read or loved or hated within the past few months.  This club is for teen and tween readers, and adults who love YA lit.  I'll be reading Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell.  We meet upstairs in the 2nd floor Conference Room.  Contact Leanne, YA Librarian, 281-360-6804 for more information.

"A Raisin In the Sun" for Black History Month

In honor of Black History Month, come join our Book Club this Monday evening on February 17th for a lively discussion of Lorraine Hansberry's play, A Raisin in the Sun!  Our Book Club meets the third Monday of each month at 7:00 PM in the library Conference Room.  For more information, contact the library @ 281-360-6804 or stop by the Adult Services desk on the 2nd floor.

MarsJoin us Thursday, February 20th, at 4:00 PM in the Children's Activity Room for the next "Ology" program!  We will be learning about Areology, the study of Mars.  Come learn some interesting facts about the Red Planet and make your very own Mars Rover!
