Dragoneers to Make Suncatchers

Kids come join Miss Connie and the Dragoneers Thursday, November 29, at 4 pm in the Children's Activity Room to make a suncatcher, a little craft to brighten a window.  All the supplies you will need to make one will be provided from funds from the Friends of the Library Kingwood, F.O.L.K.

There will be some snacks, too.

 

CORRECTION: Power of Email Marketing

Email MarketingCalling all small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs! On Tuesday, November 27, Celina of Northeast Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will present "Power of Email Marketing" at Kingwood Branch Library. This program is ideal for individuals looking to increase business visibility and enrich customer contact.  This program is free and open to the public. No registration is required. Program starts at 10:30 AM 11:30 AM and is held in the Meeting Room located on the 1st floor.

Toastmasters Present Books to Kingwood Library

Lanelle Johnston, Area Governor of Toastmasters International (District 56, L41), presented the Kingwood Branch Library with the following books in honor of three members:

Holiday Crafts for Kids

The Kingwood Garden Club is coming to help children make some ornaments in the Children's Activity Room on Monday, November 19, at 4 pm.

The Kingwood Library will be closed November 21 through November 25 for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Teen Advisory Board @ Kingwood Library

The Kingwood Teen Advisory Board will have its November meeting on Monday, November 26th at 6:30pm in the Teen Room.  The Teen Advisory Board is open to all teens ages 12-18 or in grades 6-8.  This is a great way to meet new friends, help plan library programs, develop our collection, and earn community volunteer hours!  Call Leanne, YA Librarian, 281-360-6804 for more information.
