Help Your Preschooler Make This Penguin

Photo of Penguin Craft Taken by Mandy Sheffield Preschool Craft Time is for preschool age children and lasts about 30 minutes. Parents or caregivers are required to stay and help their children complete the craft. The first craft time for the New Year will be Wednesday, January 9 at 11 a.m. when we will be making this adorable penguin. It’s a great time to start craft time if you haven’t visited before. Come join us!

Books on The Hobbit

Have you seen the new movie The Hobbit: the Unexpected Journey? I’m rereading The Hobbit, or There and Back Again by J. R. R. Tolkien in anticipation of seeing the movie. We have other titles connected to the book and movie, such as the one pictured to the left: The Hobbit: an Unexpected Journey: Official Movie Guide by Brian Sibley. Other titles: Exploring J. R. R. Tolkien’s the Hobbit by Corey Olson; The Art of the Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien by Wayne G. Hammond and Christina Scull; The History of the Hobbit by John D. Rateliff; and The Hobbit and Philosophy: For When You’ve Lost Your Dwarves, Your Wizard, and Your Way edited by Gregory Bassham and Eric Bronson. Get ready for the movie by checking out a book.

Grinch Visits Storytime

Holiday Fun For All Ages
